Merry Christmas! (almost...)
We're fast approaching the annual celebration of Jesus' birthday. Just nine days, and then 2017 will be upon us. It's a fun time of year when we think of so many people we know and how we can remind them that we love them with just the perfect gift. A fitting tradition for the day God became man, giving us the most perfect gift.
This is only the second email we have sent to you this year. That's primarily because we did not do much music in the year 2016—after a great revival of creative productivity in 2015, with the release of Even More and the publishing of the first edition of The Adventures of Phillip Mouse. (More on that below). In 2016, I had a full plate of web development for many clients, old and new, and Jen oversaw the home schooling of our kids, while also developing a successful book reselling business! Always plenty going on, as I'm sure there is for you.
But, in that Christmas is just around the corner, and we do have a couple fun things happening here... it seemed like a good time to send an email "hello", and wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

- Online Store Revamped: The basic website (www.basicmm.com) has been updated recently with a slightly new look, and a couple new products. You can purchase any of our CDs through our store, a couple of download-version albums (Even More, and now God Came, our Christmas album), and most of my (Greg's) books, including...
- The Adventures of Phillip Mouse, 2nd Edition: I'm working on a couple projects related to the children's novel I published last year, "The Adventures of Phillip Mouse", and as part of that process, I revised (slightly) the Phillip Mouse book and released a 2nd edition. More news to follow regarding Phillip Mouse and his friends... but not just yet.
- Reduced prices: as part of the revamp mentioned above, many of the prices were changed at the basic website, too. Most CDs are now $7, and a few are $5, including our Christmas album, God Came, through Christmas this year.

My first work of fiction, published May 2015 (updated Dec 2016), is a kid's "chapter book". It was a story told to our four youngest kids each night at bedtime for a few weeks. It was so fun, we decided to turn it into a book to be shared! Illustrations by our friends' daughter, Emily Shimp.
