PayPlay.fm

basic
I discovered today that one of the sites that sells our digital tracks is offering them as $0.88/track ($8.88/album) DRM-Free MP3 tracks! That's cool. I hope iTunes offers that option someday down the road.

Both iTunes and PayPlay.fm (as well as a couple dozen other places) carry our music via a great site called CDBaby.

Greg's New Books Have Arrived!

Greg has just published two new books this month! In addition to last year's A Journey Shared, Greg has now released, Life In The Rearview Mirror, and There's The Steeple... Here's The Church. All books are now available for purchase through the new GregsHead.net Bookstore.

The books are also available through Amazon.com, and then locally through various local shops. A complete list will be posted at the GregsHead Bookstore. iUniverse offers the first two (AJS, RVM) in Adobe eBook format for $6.00.

Greg is also offering the Here's The Church book as a free PDF download.

PCTC 2005 (EP) to iTunes

I mentioned in the latest e-news that we has submitted a new album to CDBaby so that we could get the songs that we have full rights to on the PCTC album up at the iTunes Music Store. Well, I checked today, and the songs have been sent out! That means you'll see them up at iTunes in about 1 or 2 weeks.

Stay tuned here, and we'll let you know.

basicmm radio: SPECIAL EDITION

We did an interview last week with three of the other four members of the original basic band, and posted that today as the latest issue of basicmm radio. It's full of pretty funny recollections of our time together as a band (now TEN years ago!) and some conversation about where each member is these days.

Definitely worth catching! Click the link below to visit our podcast page!

Podcasts A Plenty

We told you about basicmm radio a while back, well we are still doing that (just finished the next show tonight for posting this Friday)... we just started another one! This one is not basic related... just something I am doing for fun on the side.

Check it out at buffalobillsreview.com

Or, stop by the iTunes Music Store and search for Buffalo Bills Review in the podcast section. You'll find us.

New Podcast Posted

Are you still trying to figure out what in the world a "podcast" is? Well, basically it's a radio show that instead of being broadcast, is uploaded to a web server and available for download and listening at the convenience of the listener. And perhaps even better than that, it is also able to be automated. You don't even have to check for new shows... they will automatically download to your podcast-ready RSS reader!

Being the huge Apple fan that I am, (I even have my own store!) I obviously would recommend to you iTunes 4.9. It's the newest version of Apple's great digital music software that now features an entier podcast directory. All you do is click podcasts in the iTunes Music Store and search for anything you can imagine. If you search for "basic" it will bring up our podcast at the top of the list of possible podcasts. Then all you do is click subscribe, and it will add it to your list of podcasts and automatically download the latest edition! (You can get previous ones as well, just click the "Get" button next to each one!)

So simple, and so cool! We listen to a couple Apple-related shows, MacCast and Inside Mac Radio, and you can also find Max Lucado and some cool stuff from NASA.

So, check it out when you get a chance.

Our podcast home page is still at basicmm.com/podcast. Stop by for a visit. :-)
