Hello from Palmyra, NY!It's time for another basic enews update! It has been several months since we have contacted you via this e-newsletter. We do hope this e-mail finds you well, and that you are enjoying life everyday with our awesome and loving God. Some days it's easy to get caught up in the busy-ness of life, or the worries and troubles of life. I hope today you can take a moment and rest in His love and deep, abiding peace. He is everlasting life - to the fullest!Upcoming Events It has been quite some time (only one weekend event in February since we had a flurry of events back in December) ... but we actually have some concerts scheduled in the coming months! The nearest event (both geographically and on the calendar) will be coming up at the end of this month right here in Palmyra, NY. The date has been changed from May 18th to May 25th. We'll be singing at the Impact Theater again. It's a free event, but they ask that you make reservations. You can do that right through their website. We sing from 7:30 till around 9:15, with a drama performance by the "In Your Face" Players. With us doing so few events these days, it would be so great if you could join us for this one. Seating is limited, so do make sure you get your reservations in as soon as you can. Other Upcoming Events: In addition to the event this month, we have one concert schedule for 07/07/07 in the southern-tier of NY State. It's an all-day worship event down at Camp Vick in Freedom, NY. We'll be one of the groups performing that day. Not sure on the details of the event, but you can contact the people in charge via our calendar page. We'll also likely be singing at Chill & Grill (as we have the past several years) in Palmyra, NY and I believe there is another event or two in the works. As always, they will be posted to our calendar on the website as soon as any official date/time is known. basicmm.com/calendar.
| To see rotating photos, go to our online version of the enews Campbell UpdateWe the Campbells are doing well, aside from some head and chest congestion that just will not leave us alone... :-) We're excited to start another season of baseball for the boys. They are both playing now in the Home School league, H.I.S. Baseball. There are over 200 kids playing this year! Alex is playing tee-ball and Ian has moved up to coach pitch! They are both awesome, and very supportive of each other. The girls are as cute as ever. You can see one of Kirstie's modeling poses in the rotating images above. (If you don't see a rotating image, click the link under the photo, or, click on the photo and most of the photos in the rotation are at our family website, wethecampbells.net). Julia is loving her mobility, cute as ever, and we're starting to see more of her very cute personality developing. Our kids are great! :-) Jen is active with lots of home school things. And just over the past couple weeks has met so many new friends in our area who are homeschooling, or moms of kids our kids' age... it's been neat to see God making the connections! I'm busy with web design, and writing for my various websites. And of course, just being a Dad. Haven't written any songs in a while, but I do create quite a lot of content across the four or five websites I write for. :-) We've been really enjoying following the Sabres on their "Quest for the Cup" (as NBC puts it...) They have never won the Stanley Cup, but finished #1 in the NHL this season, and have a great chance to win it all this year! They just moved on to round three yesterday! The best way to keep up with the Campbells (with what we're doing... not like, "keeping up with the Joneses"...) :-) is to visit Greg's blog or our family site: gregshead.net and WeTheCampbells.net respectively. Those are updated regularly. Other Endeavors As mentioned above, I am busy designing and maintaining website for folks. If you are in need of a website, I'd love to work with you. So stop by my website (click the graphic below) and contact me about what you might need. And beyond that I am coming up on one year of being an Apple Authorized Business Agent. It's been so great! I love hooking people up with Apple computers and iPods ... and I can even get a discount most times! Fantastic. Definitely a win/win. If you're looking for anything from Apple - a great computer, or an iPod, or something else - give me a holler! Or, stop by my Apple website... click the graphic below. And the one last fun thing I am doing right now is the Buffalo Bills Review. :-) We just recorded our final off-season show last night, and will start up again in August. But all of the shows are available at our website (click the graphic below) and there will be lots of written content on our website over the summer. So, if you're a Buffalo Bills fan, we invite you to stop by! :-) As always, we thank you for your support of our music, our various other endeavors, and our family. It is very much appreciated. Thanks. :-) We look forward to seeing you later this month here in Palmyra, if you can make it. Otherwise, hope to see you out there somewhere else. Don't forget, if you want to read this, or other e-newses online, go to basicmm.com/enews. See ya out there! Greg & Jen Campbell basic |
