Now Available: PCTC 2005 EP Well I think I mentioned this back in February, but now in mid May, it's finally here! The little 4-song EP version of our PCTC 2005: Live at the Forum album we recorded last year at the Pennsylvania Christian Teen Convention (PCTC) is now available at the iTunes Music Store! That means you can purchase songs from all of our albums on iTunes, or the whole albums themselves. Songs are $0.99 each, and albums are $9.99 or less. (This one is $3.96, since it's only 4 songs.) The album features the three original basic songs that were on the original release, Fill Me, Eyes To See You, and Worship, as well as our rendition of the well-known hymn, The Solid Rock. Definitely worth checking out. A nice addition to your basic collection. :-) Don't forget, you can write a review on our iTunes page as well. That is also helpful. Click the CD cover above to go straight to the page in the iTunes Music Store (iTunes required), or click the link below: basic - PCTC 2005: Live at the Forum (EP) Where We're Singing In June It's been quiet on the gig-front here during our sabbatical (which is what I am starting to understand this break as being). The last time we were up in front of people, singing our songs, was back in February! Can you believe it?! That's so crazy! And yet, it seems completely right, and God has definitely given us this break time for many, many reasons. It is fantastic. Every once in a while, however, a call comes in, and we are asked to pick the guitars back up and head out and sing. We have two such events coming up in June, and wanted to let you know in case you are near either spot! Sunday, June 11: Livonia, NY - Faith Fellowship Church. We'll be one of a few groups performing for an afternoon/evening picnic event. June 25-June 29: Mechanicsville, VA - Fairmount Christian Church We're heading to Virginia again to lead worship for the Teen portion of Fairmount's VBS program! This will be our 6th year in a row, I think. :-) We'll sing Sunday morning, then Sunday through Thursday evenings for the VBS. For complete calendar listings, visit: basicmm.com/calendar |

Book(s) Update Just a quick update on the progress on the two, soon-to-be-released books I have been working on. In the last update I told you the titles of both (and the fact that my "next book" had turned into my next two books!) and now I have some visuals, and a bit more of a timeline to pass along. First, the book to the left has now officially been submitted to the publisher. I decided to go with the same publisher for Life In The Rearview Mirror as I used for A Journey Shared. iUniverse will print the books as they are ordered. They will mostly be available from Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble. Of course, direct links to purchase them will be available at this website as well. Look for a hopeful release date for that book somewhere in the middle of June. The second book will be a bit different this time. I decided to go with a more standard publishing route for There's The Steeple... Here's The Church, because I really think the content of the book is something a lot of people would benefit from reading, just as I have benefitted from similarly themed books. The highlighted line on the back cover of this book reads, "The church is so much more than we let it be." We have been on such an interesting journey over the past several years. God has opened our eyes both to the bigness of his church as well as its simplicity. Jen and I both are unlearning so much that we thought was important to Him, and really enjoying living out the life we always talked about. Everyday life with Jesus. This book is essentially a chronicle of the thought processes God has brought us through over the past year or so. I am excited to get it to folks, to encourage them, and perhaps for God to use the stuff he has had me thinking through to open hearts and eyes to the greatness of life in His Kingdom. Since we'll be printing 300-500 books, our upfront cost will be considerably higher for Here's The Church, but that will also mean we can sell the book for considerably less. I like that a lot. I don't want cost to be in any way prohibitive for people to be able to have and read this book. I'll start taking pre-orders for the book as soon as it's ready to start printing. Look for this book to be ready more toward the end of June. And, with the large up-front cost, if you are in any position (and have a desire) to help us with that, donations would be welcome. You can always make donations to GregsHead (and basic music ministries, for that matter) via my writing website: GregsHead.net. There is a PayPal donate button right on the top of every page, but the link in the previous sentence takes you right to the donation page. Sorry to include a request for money in this e-mail, but it is a decent chunk of money we need up front, and if you are so inclined, we welcome your assistance. I will not ask for a donation on this project again. Thanks. :-) SO... I am very excited, and wanted to pass that along in this update! Stay tuned for two new books in June!!! Search.GregsHead.net Speaking of ways to support our creative projects... :-) I believe I have mentioned here before that I am an Amazon Associate. That means, Amazon will pay me a commission on sales that were linked from my sites. That's how I set up my GregsApples.com store, and also the link to purchase A Journey Shared from GregsHead.net is also linked to Amazon. So anything you buy at Amazon after clicking on those links (not just the linked products) is credited as a sale that we referred. Pretty neato! Well, I finally was able to put up a little page that has a prominent search window, as well as a few featured products, (and even reviews!) that sort of simplifies the whole process. If you start your Amazon shopping at search.gregshead.net, the results will be the same, but Amazon will pay us a commission on anything you purchase! It's definitely a win-win situation. So, please do check that out, even right now! Visit search.gregshead.net, and bookmark it for future shopping! Thanks! :-) Thanks so much for your support. It was fun celebrating 10 years last month of Another Road Trip, and basic! We're in a different stage at the moment, but I am sure there is more to come! Looking forward to sharing the Life we have in Jesus through my books coming next month, and as often as possible on the blog page. I'd love it if you'd join me! Don't forget, if you want to read this, or other e-newses online, go to basicmm.com/enews. Hope to see y'all out there sometime soon! Greg & Jen Campbell basic |
