Christmas Music in Full Swing! After an interesting "opening weekend" (we braved almost a foot of snow, and blizzard conditions out near Utica, NY, and then sang just over 12 hours later back in Rochester for an "intimate" crowd... ) :-) we are gearing up for four straight nights of Christmas singing this week! Starting tonight, and continuing through Saturday, we'll be in full-swing with the Christmas tuneage! The best nights to catch us will be tomorrow night, or Saturday. Those are the most public places. But, whenever you can join us, you're welcome! Read on... :-) This Weekend's Christmas Gigs Wednesday, Dec 07 - 7:00pm - Palmyra, NY We're returning to Towpath Manor, a senior living apartment about 2 blocks from our house. It was a fun afternoon last time we sang for these guys, and this time we'll be bringing the whole family (at their request), so should be a fun night! We'll do about an hour of Christmas music, and there may be a Christmas cookie or two floating around... If you'd like to come join us, it will be a casual, intimate, family atmosphere. Call (315) 597-5656 for more information. Time: 7:00-8:00pmThursday, Dec 08 - 5:30pm - Victor, NY It's time for Christmas shopping, and it's time for Christmas music at Eastview Mall! This will be our 5th year of singing for their holiday music series! (That's a lot!) It's always a good time. We set up our sound system and blast great Christmas favorites through the halls, as shoppers stroll by with smiles on their faces, some even singing along! There are seats set up for everyone who wants to come and stay for the whole hour. Come on out from 5:30-6:30, or for any part of that. We're looking forward to seeing you! Time: 5:30-6:30pmFriday, Dec 09 - 6:30pm - Newark, NY This Friday night, we will be joined by some new friends of ours, the Mahoneys. They have a name for their band, but at the moment, that name escapes me. :-) They are three brothers who are musically gifted, and who live in Jesus. It will be great to do a Christmas event with them! Abram, the oldest, regularly volunteers at Armstrong Senior Living Center, and so he asked if we could do an event there, and we accepted! The concert will be for residents, but I figure it's open to anyone also, so call ahead and let them know if you'd like to come! Time: 6:30-7:30pmSaturday, Dec 10 - 7:30pm - Palmyra, NY There's a new coffee house in town! Our town, that is! We'll be singing at Coffee-Creek this Saturday night for two hours! All Christmas music! We may even take requests... :-) So come on out for the whole evening, or any part of it. Great warm beverages, great snacks, and great Christmas music with friends! We're looking forward to it! Time: 7:30-9:30pm Featured Music on The MacCast 
Our Christmas song, Joy To the World was featured this week on The MacCast, a podcast featuring news and tips on all things related to Apple computer. Every episode, he features some "unknown" music at the end of the show. So, I asked if he'd be interested in one of our Christmas tunes, and he loved it! That was cool. God Came: The Christmas AlbumWe have already mentioned what a great Christmas gift one or two of our CDs would make (especially since it's Christmas music) :-), and thanks to all of you who have purchased those. But there were a few things we wanted to let you know about the CD.
Looking to Buy an iPod?One of the hottest gift items this holiday season is Apple's line of iPod mp3 players. They have models ranging from the stick-of-gum-sized Shuffle from $99, to the new video-capable iPod, that holds up to 60GB of music, photos and now video. Those start at $249. A decent investment, but we definitely love ours. (We have a cool older version, that only holds music...) :-) It's great, because in one tiny device, you can store and quickly access ALL of your CDs!!! And now, all your photos and videos! Amazing. So, if you're looking to buy one of those for yourself, or for someone else this Christmas season, I wanted to offer a chance to support basic with your purchase! A while back I set up an online Apple store, called GregsApples.com. Apple is so good at keeping their content fresh that I have had a hard time keeping the site updated!!! But, I recently updated the iPod page, and all of the info/links are correct. :-) My site is basically a portal to Amazon.com, and they will process your order entirely. The cool part is, anything you click through (and buy) on my site will generate a commission that Amazon pays me quarterly. So, just buy getting a good deal on something you were already planning to purchase, you are helping support the Campbells. :-) Sounds like a win-win to me!
